THE ALUMINUM COMPOSITE PIPE
THE ALUMINUM COMPOSITE PIPE - A MODERN COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Our aluminum composite pipe is a modern composite material: It combines the advantages of plastic and metal for new, expanded properties in handling and operation. This results in a significant advantage for work and the daily use of the product.
These clear advantages are generated in a special manufacturing process that takes many factors into account. Only the exact coordination of all parameters in production delivers the desired result: absolutely reproducible quality. This makes our quality reliable and safe, and the material shows all its advantages over its entire service life.

THE CONCEPT – BENEFITS IN EVERYDAY LIFE
The extended properties of the aluminum composite pipe:
- Easily bendable, fewer fittings than rigid pipe materials such as metal and pure plastic pipes
- Consistent surface quality over the entire product lifespan
- High sustainability due to reduced energy consumption in production (compared to metal pipes)
- No corrosion or deposits
- High chemical resistance, maximum safety even where some metal pipes can no longer be used
- Low weight and low thermal expansion
THE LAYERS - ALL-ROUND SAFETY
PE-RT – SAFE INSIDE AND OUT
The pipe material PE-RT is a development that allows increased temperature loads compared to PE. It is therefore ideal for use in plumbing and heating installations. Unlike PEX material, PE-RT is recyclable, which contributes to sustainability.
The aluminum composite pipe retains its very smooth pipe surfaces throughout the product’s entire lifespan; neither corrosion nor deposits occur. The pipe cross-section and thus the flow remain unchanged, so the pressure loss in the entire system does not change.
ALUMINUM – THE SOUL OF THE TUBE
The thin aluminum layer ensures the pipe’s dimensional stability and oxygen-tightness. This means that the pipe remains in the same shape once it has been bent and there are no restoring forces during assembly. This makes installation easier thanks to good bendability, dimensional stability and the absence of restoring forces. The entry of oxygen, which can lead to damage to integrated devices in the heating installation, is eliminated. This ensures greater security for the overall installation.
ADHESION PROMOTER – HOLDS SHAPE
In order to ensure low thermal expansion of the pipe, the aluminum pipe is firmly bonded to the PE-RT layers with the adhesion promoter. This means that the thermal expansion remains approximately the same as that of copper. This results in less expansion work for the pipes and reduces stresses in the installation.

PRODUCTION - COMPETENCE IN MATERIAL AND PROCESS
During production, the aluminum strip is first formed into a tube (1) and then welded (1a) .
Now the adhesion promoter and the inner pipe layer (2) are applied. The layers are held in position using compressed air.
The last step is to apply the outer layers, again adhesion promoter and outer pipe layer (3) .
