Multitubo has introduced the G2 Brass Press Fitting System as the latest evolution in press-fit connection technology. Designed to meet the demands of modern plumbing and HVAC installations, G2 combines multi-profile press compatibility with visible quality assurance — giving installers and specifiers a single fitting platform that adapts to regional tooling standards and diverse project requirements.

A Multi-Profile Platform

One of the defining advantages of the G2 system is its compatibility with multiple press contours on a single fitting body. Installers can work with U, TH, H, and RFz press profiles without switching product lines, which simplifies inventory management and reduces the risk of mismatched connections on site.

360° Inspection and Faster Installation

Every G2 fitting incorporates a 360° inspection window that allows visual confirmation of a complete press connection before system startup. This design feature addresses one of the most common concerns in press-fit installations — verifying that the jaw has fully compressed the fitting onto the pipe.

G2 also eliminates the deburring step required by many conventional press systems. Pipe preparation is reduced to cutting and chamfering, saving measurable time on large commercial projects and lowering the chance of installation errors caused by inconsistent pipe-end preparation.

Rollout to Export Markets

Following its launch, the G2 Brass Press Fitting System is being rolled out to Multitubo's export partner network, including distributors serving India and other international markets. The system's multi-profile design is particularly valuable in export contexts where installers may encounter different press tool standards on the same project portfolio.

Available in lead-free brass for potable water and general building services, with a PPSU variant for elevated-temperature heating applications, G2 covers size ranges from 16 to 32 mm — aligning with the most common MLCP pipe diameters used in residential and light commercial work.
